Men’s League 2024

Evergreen’s Men’s League is intended to be a social league with tee times starting at 4:30 pm. Due to public play, no men’s league teams will be allowed to tee off prior to their scheduled time.  Each week there will be a different format played.

League Includes:

• Weekly Green Fees for each night of League.
• 3 Rain Checks for nights you can not attend.
• Weekly Prizes for Closest to the Pin, Long Drive, Long Putt and Draw prizes on some holes.
• Year End finale with dinner, team and individual prizes.

Important Notes:

• For those new to the league, here is how each week will look:

  1. First we will send out an email very similar to this one stating what the game will be, how to play the game, and the winning prizes that will be handed out the following week for those teams that won.
  2. When you arrive for your scheduled tee times, we will have you check in with one of our staff. This will be located at the first tee box at a table. You will receive your team’s scorecard and instruction for the game for that week. This will also give you an opportunity to pay $5 (CASH ONLY) into our Closest to the Pin Challenges and Hole in 1 Challenge (explained below).
  3. Your team will then tee off at your designated Tee Time. 
  4. After playing please return your scorecard to the staff. Your team cannot win without giving your scorecard to us. 
  5. If someone is absent from your team, you may bring a substitute male (18+). Substitute players are able to win Proximity prizes, but may not win cash prizes.
  Closest to the Pin Cash Pot: Each week you have the opportunity to put $5 into the cash pot for the night. $2 will go towards the player who individually shot the closest shot to the pin on the pre-selected hole each week. The other $2 will go towards the player who individually shot the closest shot to the pin but MUST make a birdie on the pre-selected hole. The remaining $1 will go towards the Hole in 1 Prize Pot that will stack up throughout the season and be given to the player if a hole in 1 is made this year. 
  
  Rain Checks: 3 rain checks are given to each league member in our tee sheet under your name. Please note that league is never canceled (yes even if it is raining), you are free to come out and play if you would like! 3 rain checks are given to players for nights you are unable to attend. You can use these rain checks at any time outside of league times (during regular public play). 

League Schedule 2024: Dates and Summary of Games each week:  Week 1: May 9 – Opening Night Scramble Scramble – Tee Times (NOT A SHOTGUN) Week 2: May 16 Dice Game  Week 3: May 23  Regular Play – Play your own ball – KP Prizes only Week 4: May 30 Four Man: One, Two, Three – This game works on a 3 hole rotation. On the first hole, your team score is made up of the score that is the lowest among the team. On the second, your team score is made up of the two lowest scores of your team. On the third, your team score is determined by the three lowest scores on your team. Then the rotation begins again.  Week 5: June 6 – Retro/80’s Night Best Ball – Each player plays their own golf ball, and the lowest score is recorded for the entire team. (Not a Scramble) Week 6: June 13 Mystery Holes – Five holes will be chosen to determine the team score. The team keeps all players’ scores. The team total will be determined by adding the score on the 5 holes. Week 7: June 20 Card Game Week 8: June 27 Evens – Each player plays their own ball; the team score will be determined by adding up all the even holes together. Week 9: July 4 Regular Play – Play your own ball – KP Prizes only Week 10: July 11 Par Points – each player plays their own ball, and the team will receive points for how they score on each hole. Record your individual scores and the staff will count them.  Hole–in-One 6 points Eagle 5 points Birdie 4 points Par 3 points Bogie 2 points Double Bogie 1 point Greater than 0 points Week 11: July 19 TROPICAL NIGHT Pink Ball – Each team will be given one pink ball, and players alternate who plays the pink ball. All other players will play their own ball. The player using the pink ball will have their score counted for that hole. BE CAREFUL – if you lose the pink ball your team is ineligible to win the team prize.  Week 12: July 25 Dice Game Week 13: Aug 1 Card Game Week 14: Aug. 8 Regular Play – Play your own ball Week 15: Aug. 15 – Team/Jersey Day! – Rep your favorite sports team gear! Odds – Each player plays their own ball; the team score will be determined by adding up all the odd holes together. Week 16: Aug. 22 Best Ball Week 17: Aug. 29 Regular Play – Play your own ball – KP Prizes only Week 18: Sep. 5 Regular Play – Play your own ball – KP Prizes only Week 19: Sep. 12 Year-end Scramble – Shotgun start at 5:30 Prizes
