2026 LOGAN BOULET JUNIOR KICK-IN PROGRAM WITH OPERATION 36
RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 6-16
As of 2025, the Evergreen Golf Centre is proud to be supported by the Bo
ulet family and has rebranded to be known as the Logan Boulet Junior Kick-In Program.
Golf is a wonderful sport. Not only is it an opportunity to be active and outside in the fresh air but golf courses tend to be one of the safest places to spend time. Golf courses are generally beautiful with manicured grounds and transport the player somewhere special in their mind. Golf is also a wonderful sport because it includes human skills such as honesty, respect, courtesy, and perseverance. The Kick-In program will be focusing on these human skills throughout the levels helping grow the student as a person as well as to grow their golf skills.
The Kick-In program creates a pathway for junior golfers to grow and learn by utilizing milestones that must be learned and demonstrated in order to graduate through 5 levels or 'belts'. By the end of the program a student is ready to play at a larger 18 hole facility. Utilizing the colour pathway of Tai Kwan Do our students start in White belt and then proceed through Yellow, Green, Blue, and finally Red. Passing Red belt earns the student their final belt, Black. Starting in 2026 our Green Belt, Blue Belt, and Red Belt program will utilize Operation 36. For more information check out the Operation 36 program HERE.
Did you know that a "Kick-In" golf shot is a very short putt usually the outcome of a fantastic approach shot or long putt. The program will give the students the tools they need to have more "Kick-Ins" in life and on the links.
*Note* For students under the age of 10 I would highly recommend starting the Kick-In program in White Belt however it is possible to start in Yellow or even Green. For students over the age of 10 I would recommend starting the program in Green Belt as White/Yellow Belt classes tend to be for younger ages. Level 1 White Belt
Our white belt program which introduces the great game of golf to boys and girls who are new or have had very little instruction. Suggested for ages 6-9.
This program :
- is 4/60 minute sessions over 4 weeks.
- covers basic rules and etiquette to introduce the great game of golf.
- covers basics in grip, stance, posture, and ball position for many aspects of the game of golf.
- covers full swing, chipping, and putting in a fun and encouraging manner.
- is a great place to start if your child is new to the game or needs a refresher course.
- is recommended before doing the level 2 program.
CHECKPOINTS TO PASS LEVEL 1 INCLUDE :
- Remains focused through the lesson
- Respects the instructor and their fellow students
- Can 3 putt from 20 feet once in 4 attempts (will get 2 chances during the program)
- Can chip a ball onto the putting surface from 5 yards off the green once in 4 attempts (will get 2 chances during the program)
- Keeps their hands close together on the club during full swings
- Makes contact with the ball on a full swing 50% of the time
- Can name 6 key parts of a golf course. Putting Green, Tee Box, Sand Trap, Water Hazard, Rough, Fairway (this will be tested using a picture and jumbled labels)
TESTING IS DONE DURING THE LESSONS AND 6 of 7 CHECKPOINTS MUST BE PASSED TO MOVE ONTO THE LEVEL 2 YELLOW BELT PROGRAM.

Level 2 - Yellow Belt
Our Yellow Belt program for growing technique in boys and girls who have completed Level 1. Suggested for ages 6-10.
It is highly recommended, but not mandatory that a child has done the Level 1 White Belt program prior to taking the Level 2 Yellow Belt program.
This program :
- is 4/60 minute sessions over 4 weeks.
- is a great place to start your child if they have minor previous experience and are 8-10 years old or for a 6-7 year old who is showing promising skills.
- grows technique through more advanced drills and games allowing for further skill acquisition in the golf swing.
- incorporates basic rules and etiquette.
CHECKPOINTS TO PASS LEVEL 2 INCLUDE :
- Remains focused during the lessons
- Respects the instructor and their fellow students
- Can 3 putt from 30 feet once in 6 attempts (will get 2 chances during the program)
- Can chip a ball onto the green from 10 yards off the green once in 4 attempts (will get 2 chances during the program)
- Keeps their hands close together and covers their top thumb during full swings
- Makes airborne contact with the ball 50% of their full swings
- Can name 5 key parts of a golf club. Grip, shaft, club head, club face, and the grooves (this will be tested by the student touching those 5 parts of the club and naming them to the instructor on the final day of class)
TESTING IS DONE DURING THE LESSONS AND 6 of 7 CHECKPOINTS MUST BE PASSED TO MOVE ONTO LEVEL 3 GREEN BELT

Level 3 - Green Belt (Operation 36 rank 1 & 2)
WELCOME TO OPERATION 36!
Our level 3 program is for juniors with prior experience or who are of age to learn intermediate techniques. Suggested for ages 10-16 but would be fine for kids who have passed Yellow Belt.
It is highly recommended, but not mandatory that the child has completed the Level 2 Yellow Belt program before taking the Level 3 Green Belt program.
This program :
- is the beginning of the Operation 36 journey utilizing rank 1 and 2 goals and milestones.
- is a great place to start if your child has some previous instruction and shows signs of skill or for a beginner older than 10.
- is 8 x 60 minute sessions and 2 on course Operation 36 testing rounds
- includes access to the Operation 36 App which includes videos and tests for self directed learning outside of session time.

Level 4 - Blue Belt (Operation 36 rank 3 & 4)
Our Level 4 program is for juniors who have completed the Green Belt Program.
A student in this level is likely now able to play unsupervised at the Evergreen Golf Centre and may consider joining our junior league (junior club) where we also use Operation 36.
This program :
- further develops the student's power and golf IQ allowing them to lower their scores
- includes 8 x 60 minute lesson sessions
- includes 2 9-hole on course testing rounds
- utilizes Operation 36 rank 3 & 4
CHECKPOINTS TO PASS LEVEL 4 INCLUDE :
- All of the rank 3 & 4 milestones in Operation 36. These include
- Posture
- Power
- Grip
- Ball Flight
- Alignment

Level 5 - Red Belt (Operation 36 Rank 5 & 6)
Our Level 5 program is the pinnacle of our levels. The child will earn a Black Belt for successful completion of this program.
It is mandatory that the child has completed the Level 4 Blue Belt program prior to taking the Level 5 Red Belt program.
This program:
- is designed to feed participants into larger courses prepping them for a full 18 hole experience.
- is for kids who are passionate about the game and may have designs on playing on a school team or even thinking about collegiate scholarships
- is our highest level of group instruction for junior golfers
CHECKPOINTS TO PASSING LEVEL 5 AND EARNING A BLACK BELT INCLUDE :
- All of the rank 5 & 6 milestones in Operation 36. These include

- Work Ethic

- Shooting a score of 36 from 150 yards and then 200 yards. (you will need to play at a different facility to attempt the 200 yard test. All local courses are GPS'd and using the app you can find the appropriate spot on each hole to do the test)
