The Gord Laurie Foundation awards $500 scholarships to junior golfers who are active participants in our Junior Leagues and stand out to our coaches using the following criteria :
- for being a mentor
- for demonstrating kindness to the other participants
- for showing respectfulness to the coaches
- for remaining focused on the task at hand
- for commitment to self improvement in golf and life
- for volunteer efforts made that support Evergreen programs
- for passion for the game
Participants interested in the scholarship are required to submit a letter of interest prior to October 1st. This letter must be a minimum of 250 words long and should include a look at why they love the game and what their goals are for the future.
Winners are selected by the Head Teaching Professional and will be notified at the end of the Fall League schedule.
