FORMAT AND RULES

The league runs for 10 weeks, including a 2-week pre-season, 6-week regular season, and 2 weeks of playoffs to determine the champions.

Each week, we’ll play 9 holes of virtual golf on our suited range stalls. Teams will consist of 3 players, with the best 2 net scores per hole counting and the worst net score dropped.

Handicaps will be set after the first two weeks of pre-season and will adjust weekly. Spares will be given a handicap of 10.0, unless they choose to use their Golf Canada handicap (which must be validated prior to play). If a spare plays 2 weeks of league play, a handicap will be created for them to use in future rounds. During playoffs, any spare without an established league handicap will be given a 0 handicap to protect the field.

Points are awarded to teams based on finishing position each week.  Tied positions will split the points.   Tiebreakers to determine the weekly winners will be count backs with the winners having the best score on #9 and then working back.

All players can download the TrackMan Golf app to track scores and distances during practice. The system uses an auto-finishing feature once the ball is within 35 yards of the green, set to a scratch handicap.

The mulligan feature will be turned on, but should only be used if the radar incorrectly tracks the wrong ball, if a player hits out of turn, or if another valid reason arises.

There will be weekly proximity prizes such as Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin, along with weekly individual and team prizes. Year-end team championship prizes will also be awarded.
